CITY TO CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS OF THE STATE
ROAD DEPARTMENT IN REGARD TO INSTALLATION,
MAINTENI.NCE O11 CHANGE Ili THE SYSTEM:
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
CIVAVERAL, FLORIDA, THAT:
1,.HEREAS, the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, hereinafter
called City, desires the State Road Department of Florida,
hereinafter called Department, to make a Traffic Signal Study,
and further desires said Department to issue a "permit" to the
City for the installation of a certain traffic light.
NOW, THEREFORE, DE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA, AS• FOLLU,IS:
1. That the City does hereby request a "permit" be issued
for a traffic signal at the intersection of State Road AlA and
Central Boulevard in the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida.
2. That tee City will install the type of signal recom-
mended by the Department and pay for the signal out of local
funds.
3. That the City will maintain the traffic signal in
accordance w. .. the State Road Department Traffic Signal
:faintenanc. .:ommendations and the Signal .ncrating Plan.
4. .,.. —e City will pay the electri c.arges for
ofsrating the signal.
