A RESOLUTION ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY INTO THE
CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA; ESTABLISHING
ZONING OF SAID PROPERTY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, a Petition has been presented to and approved by the
City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida signed by the
land owners, ROBERT E, HOOG AND JUDITH L, HOOG, a copy of which is attached
and made a part hercor, and
WHEREAS, the said owners have requested annexation of said area
to the City of Cape Canaveral, at the regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida on .1.•nuary 7, , 1969
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral deems
It to be in the best .interest of the City of Cape Canaveral to annex
said property, Now, therefore
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the following described property is hereby
annexed and made a part of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florioa:
Lots 9, 10, 11 and 12, Block 73, Avon -By- The -Sea
Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 7,
Section 26, Township 211, Range 37, Brevard County,
Florida
SECTION 2. That the property deserlbed in Section 1 of this
resolution be, and the same is hereby zoned the same as the property
located immediately to the north thereof.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall take effect Immediately upon
its adoption..
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA,

Gentlemen:
We are respectfully petitioning the City. of Cape Canaveral,
Florida, to annex the above - described property into the city limits
of Cape Canaveral, Florida. By this annexation, we are hoping to
obtain certain services necessary to the operation of our business,
namely sewer and water services and police and fire protection, which
the city has to offer.
The above located at 6790 North Atlantic Avenue will beerlthee new slooccationaof being
business which has been in the city of Cape Canaveral for the past
five (5) years.
