HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 1969-32 MICROFILMED 4-10. 80 RESOLUTION NO. 69-32 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING COUNTY TAX ASSESSOR AS TAX ASSESSOR FOR THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA; AUTIDRIZING ASSESSOR'S CONTRACT; PROVIDING AN EFF- ECTIVE DATE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Tax Assessor of Brevard County, Florida, or his successor in office, if any, is hereby authorized and directed to be the tax assessor of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, and is hereby authorized to undertake the duties as such tax assessor as specified by law. SECTION 2. Such tax assessor shall be compensated as per the contract which is hereto attached and by this reference made a part hereof. Such contractural fees to be in the amount of one fourth (1/4) of one percent of the total tax. SECTION 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, this 174 day of October, 1969. 'Ile Assessor will on his own personal time evaluate the real .property located within the cotlnroted limits of the City and prepare a tax assessment roll reflecting the following: 1. Wrier's name and address. 2. Legal description of property. 3. Valuation of property. FI. The Assessor will have the appropriate mmount of tax printed on the Urevard Canty Tax Statements to reflect the tax due to the City by the property owner for the year 1969. II1. the Assessor shall pay any and all expenses for the use of any equipment owned by the Canty of Ilrevard from the above stated consideration.
