RESOLUTION NO. 71-6
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY PLANNERS
TO PROCEED WITH FEASIBILITY PLANS FOR CREATION
AND DEVELOPMENT OF A BEACH FRONT PARK;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida, recognizes the need and desirability of a public beach front
park, and
leases
WHEREAS, the City of Cape Canaveral nowxomusx a parcel
County owned
of/beach front property and is desirous of investigating the cost and
feasibility of acquiring additional beach front property for public
park purposes,
NOW THEREFORE , Be It Resolved by the City Council of
the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Planners are hereby authorized to
proceed with plans for the creation of a beach front park in the City
of Cape Canaveral, Florida. These plans are to include acquisition
of additional beach front property, layout design, feasibility and
estimated costs for the project.
SECTION 2. The Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida, this 2nd day of February, 1971.
