RESOLUTION NO. 71-7
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT ON
BEHALF
OF THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA, WITH THE
PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE CREDIT UNION TO PROVIDE FOR
CERTAIN PAYROLL DEDUCTION PLANS FOR CITY OF CAPE
CANAVERAL EMPLOYEES AND OTHER PRACTICES RELATIVE
TO THE SAVING AND LENDING FUNCTIONS OF SAID CREDIT
UNION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
r '' WHEREAS the employees of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida,
wish to take advantage of a savings program offered by the Patrick Air
Force Base Credit Union and by virtue thereof also become entitled to
certain borrowing prerogatives and have requested the City Council of
the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, to authorize
such an agreement between said Credit Union and the City;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida, is authorized to enter into an agreement on behalf of the City
of Cape Canaveral, Florida, with the Patrick Air Force Base Credit
Union providing for the procedures to be followed respecting a savings
plan and lending practices, including payroll deductions, between said
Credit Union and the City of Cape Canaveral employccs.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral,
