WIII:RL•'AS, Florida Statutes Chapter 98.091 provides that any
municipality Into county which has adopted the permanent registration
system may use such system in Its elections in place of separate regis-
tration for Its electors with the concurrence of the Board of County Com-
missioners and Supervisor of Elections; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of tile City of Cape Canaveral has
determined that it would be of specific benefit to the inhabitants of the
City of Cape Canaveral to utilize the County permanent single voter regis-
tration system in place of the existing separate city registration for its
electors.
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida:
SECTION 1: "111e City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, elects to use
the Brevard County permanent single voter registration system for the
registration of electors of the City of Cape Canaveral.
SE'C1'ION 2. The City Clerk, in her capacity as Supervisor of
Elections, is directed to notify the Board of County Commissioners that the
City of Cape Canaveral elects and desires to use the permanent registra-
tion system.
SECTION 3. This resolution is passed and adopted pursuant to
Florida Statutes Chapter 98.091 which provides that the City of Crape
Canaveral must adopt a resolution electing to utilize the county permanent
single voter registration system.

SECTION 4. This Resolution shall become in full force and
effect in accordance with the Charter of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida.
SECTION 5. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 6. That this Resolution was duly passed at a regu-

lar meeting of the City Countil of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida,
