RESOLUTION NO. 71-9
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO
SIGN APPLICATIONS FOR PERMITS TO CONSTRUCT
AND OPERATE WATER POLLUTION SOURCES;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida, is the governing body of the City of Cape Canaveral
sewer system; and
WHEREAS the laws and regulations of the State of Florida
require that permits be obtained for the construction and operation
of water pollution sources from the State of Florida Department
of Air and Water Pollution Control; and
WHEREAS it is necessary to appoint an agent for the City
to sign any and all papers, documents and instruments relating
to the aforementioned construction and operation permits;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA,
THAT:
SECTION 1. City Manager, A. J. Francis, is hereby
authorized to sign said papers, documents and instruments relating
to the aforesaid permits and to provide the necessary information
required by the State agencies.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective imme-
diately upon its adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida, this 2nd day of March, 1971.
