RESOLUTION NO. 71-10
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A ZONING COMMISSION;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida, has drafted a new zoning Ordinance and wishes to substitute
this new zoning Ordinance for the present zoning Ordinance; and

WHEREAS, Section 176. 07, Florida Statutes, requires that the
governing body of any municipality seeking to change its zoning
regulations, appoint a Zoning Commission for the purposes enumerated
in said Statute.
NOW THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the City Council of the
City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, the following:
SECTION 1. The Zoning and Planning Board and the City Council
of the City of Cape Canaveral
are herebyappointed ointed as the ZoningCommission for the Cityof Capee
Canaveral, Florida, pursuant to Section 176. 07, Florida Statutes.
It shall be the duty of said Zoning Commission to recommend the
boundaries of the various original districts and appropriate regulations
to be enforced therein. This commission shall make a preliminary
report and hold public hearings thereon before submitting its final
report to the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately
uponon its adoption by the City Council of the City
of Cae Cana

Florida.
