RESOLUTION NO. 71-13
A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF AN ADDITIONAL
ONE CENT GASOLINE TAX TO BE USED FOR
CITY STREET CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida is in favor of an additional one cent gasoline tax for city
street construction and maintenance, and to be used for such
purposes by the City of Cape Canaveral.
NOW THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the City Council
of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, the following:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Cape
Canaveral, Florida, supports an additional one-cent gasoline tax
to be used for city street construction and maintenance, and urges
the Legislature of the State of Florida to adopt such an additional
gasoline tax.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida, this 6thday of April, 1971.
