RESOLUTION NO . 71- 20
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING AN AGREEMENT
FOR MUTUAL AID IN FIRE PROTECTION
BETWEEN THE CITY OF COCOA BEACH FIRE
DEPARTMENT AND THE CAPE CANAVERAL
VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT ; PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE .
WHEREAS, the City of Cocoa Beach Fire Department
desires to enter into an agreement with the City of Cape Canaveral
Volunteer Fire Department for mutual aid in fire protection, and
WHEREAS , it appears to be in the best interests of
the City of Cape Canaveral to approve and support such an
agreement, in that the City will benefit from such mutual fire
protection;
NOW, THEREFORE , Be It Resolved by the City Council of
the City of Cape Canaveral , Florida, as follows :
SECTION 1 . The City Council of the City of Cape
Canaveral , Florida , does hereby support and approve the agreement
between the City of Cocoa Beach Fire Department and the City of Cape
Canaveral Volunteer Fire Department for mutual aid in fire protection,
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
SECTION 2 . The City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral ,
Florida does hereby grant authority to the Mayor and the City Clerk
to execute said Agreement on behalf of the City of Cape Canaveral ,
Florida .
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral ,
Florida, this P- day of1971 .

believe this is due to past human error.
