RESOLUTION NO . 71-22
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE CITY
BEAUTIFICATION BOARD; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE .
WHEREAS , there is established by the general laws of
Florida, a Charter of the City of Cape Canaveral and Ordinance
no . 11-68 of this City, authority for the creation of a City
Beautification Board.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Cape Canaveral as follows :
SECTION 1 . Mr . Bruce Patton, 359 Harbor Drive , by and
the same is hereby appointed as a member of the City Beautification
Board of the City of Cape Canaveral , Florida for a term expiring on
the 3rd day of December , 1972 .
SECTION 2 . The said appointee is hereby duly directed
and authorized to undertake and perform the duties and responsibil-
ities as prescribed in Ordinance no . 11-68 of this City and in the
general laws of this State .
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral ,
Florida this 1st day of June , 1971 .
