A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AREA 01: DIRECT
INTEREST 017 INDIVIDUAL COUNCILMEN;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Rule 1.22 of Ordinance No. 19 -63 requires
that each Council member shall have and be appointed certain
areas of direct interest of City Government, and further that
each Council member shall be the source of information to the
Council in his area of interest.
NOW THEREFORE RE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 01:
THE CITY 01: CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Councilman George 11. firkins. Jr. is
hereby assigned as his area of interest, (loads, Power and light
Service, 'telephone Service, ' ;'raffic and Parking, f:atert;ays, and
Recreation, City Parks and City Reaches.
SECTION 2. Councilman E. Harrison Rhame is
hereby assigned as his area of interest, Cuilding and Zoning,
chich shall include, Zoning Board, Board of Adjustment, Building
Inspector, City planning, Schools and Beautification.
:,ECTION 3. Councilman G. J. tialvaeeio is
hereby assigned as his area of interest, Police Department,
City Courts and Fire Department.
SECTION 4. Councilman Leo C. :1icholas is
hereby assigned as his area of interest, Finance, Budget and
Administration, which shall include City Manager, City Clerk,
City 'Treasurer, City Hall, ilonds, Taxes and Revenue, Election,
Chamber of Commerce and City Attorney.

hereby assigned as his area of interest, Sanitation and Public
Health, which shall include Sewage, Drainage, Water Service,
Health and Sanitation Inspector, Garbage Service, Animal Control,
:md Liquor and Beverages, rind Library.
SECTION 6. 'Phis Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption by the City Council of the City
