WHEREAS, tine Central Truck Lines 'Terminal now located
within the city limits of the City of Cocoa is essential to the Industrial
development of the City of Cocoa, the City of Cape Canaveral and of
Rrevard County, and
\VIIEREAS, the convenience, services and facilities which
are provided by having the Central Truck Lines Terminal in close
proximity are essential to the merchants and manufacturers of the
Central Rrevard area, Including the City of Cape Canaveral, and
WHEREAS, the proposed City Of C )COa Industrial Park has
been planned with consideration having been given to the present location
of the Central Truck Uncs Terminal,
NOW THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the City Council of the
City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, that said City COUncII hereby requests
that the Public Service Commission deny tine petition of Central Truck
Lines for permission to close its Cocoa Terminal,
ADOI'I'ED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida, this day of February, 1971.
