Will'REAS, the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral
realizes that there is a need for tax reform at all levels of
I government in Florida, and
1VIIEREAS, all early vote on the amendment to the
Constitution to permit a tax on corporate profits, regardless of
the result of such vote, tray assist in arriving at some solution to
the tax problems of local government, as well as the State of I'lorida;
NOW "I•I11;RL'I'Oltl;, Ile It Resolved By the City Council of
the City of Cape Canaveral, I'lorida, the following:
SEC "PION I. The members of the Legislative Delegation
from this district are respectfully urged to support a resolution
permitting an early vote, as provided by the Constitution, on the
proposed amendment to permit a tax on corporate profits.
SECTION 2. "Dtis Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption by the City Council of the City of
Cape Canaveral, 171orida.
