HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 1975-16 MICROFILMED 4-10-80 RESOLUTION NO. 75-16 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CAPE CANAVERAL POLICE OFFICERS RETIREMENT TRUST FUND; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 815 Florida Statutes, the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida has established a Police Officers Retirement Trust Fund for members of the Cape Canaveral Police Department; and WHEREAS, due to the resignation of two regularly employed policemen, it is now incumbent upon the City Council to fill the vacancies on the Board of Trustees of the Police Officers Retirement Trust Fund: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS : SECTION 1. JAMES CANNON , a regularly employed policeman of the Cape Canaveral Police Department, is hereby appointed as a Trustee of the Cape Canaveral Police Officers Retirement Trust Fund for a term to expire on December 3, 1976. • SECTION 2 . VIRGIL FITCH , a regularly employed policeman of the Cape Canaveral Police Department, is hereby appointed as a Trustee of the Cape Canaveral Police Officers Retirement Trust Fund for a term to expire on December 3, 1976. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption by the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida. ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, this 10TH day of June , 1975.
