RESOLUTION NO. 77-11
A RESOLUTION APPROVING EASEMENT TO FLORIDA POWER
& LIGHT COMPANY FOR STREET LIGHT IN CAPE CANAVERAL,
FLORIDA; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SAME BY MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1. The City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, hereby approves
an Easement to Florida Power & Light Company, for the installation of a
street light on part of Lot 15, Block 46, Avon-By-The-Sea, Plat Book 3,
Page 7, Public Records of Brevard County, Florida, a copy of said easement
being attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida, are hereby authorized to execute said easement on behalf of the
City.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida,
this 15 day of February, 1977.

In consideration of the payment to me/us by Florida Power & Light Company of $1.00 and other good and
valuable consideration which I/we have received, I/we and those holding through me/us, grant and give to Florida
Power & Light Company and its successors and assigns an easement for the construction, operation and main-
tenance of electric utility facilities (including wires, poles, guys, cables, conduits, transformer enclosures and
appurtenant equipment) to be installed from time to time; with the right to reconstruct, improve, add to, change
the size of or remove such facilities or any of them; to permit the attachment of conduits, wires or cables of any
other Company or person; also, to cut, trim and keep clear all trees, brush and undergrowth or other obstructions
-that-might endanger or interfere with said facilities, on, over, upon, under, and across my/our property described
as follows;
A 5 foot wide Florida Power & Light .Company facilities easement whose Centerline and Point
Of Beginning originates 8 feet South of the Northwest property corner on the West property
line and runs in a straight line to the point of termination located on the South property
line 25 feet East of the Southwest property corner. This easement located on Lot 15
Block 46, Avon By The Sea as described in Plat Book 3 Page 7 of the Official Records of
Brevard County Florida.
