A RESOLUTION APPLYING FOR CONVEYANCE OR THAT
CURTAIN PARCEL OF PROPERTY COMMONLY REFERRED
TO AS OAK LANE PROPERTY CURRENTLY OWNED BY TIIL
COUNTY OF BREVARD, STATE' OF FLORIDA; PROVIDING
AN L•'FFL7CTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral desires
ownership of that certain parcel of property known as Oak Lane Property,
more particularly described as parts of Lot A, B as described in DB 395
Page 145, 739 Page 446 Ex DB 424, Page 566, ORB 5, Page 528, 9 Page 311,
24 Page 3, 206 Page 577, 364 Page 312, 762 Page 200, ORB 7,15, Page 459,
Tuctons Subdivision of Pt of Southw.st 1/4 of Northwest 1/4 and Northwest
1/4 of Southwest 1/4 as per Plat Book 1, I'tge 22, of the Public Records of
Brevard County, Florida; and
WI ILREAS, the above described property will be used for the public's
use; and
WIIEREAS, said use is in the public Interest.
NOW TI IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Cape Canaveral, Florida, that,
SECTION 1. Application for conveyance of the above described
property is hereby made pursuant to provisions in Section 125.38 of the Florida
Statutes to the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners for conveyance
Of the subject property to the City of Cape Canaveral.
SEC7 ION 2. That a certified copy of this resolution shall be forwarded
forthwith to the Assistant County Attorney, William IL Arnold, for presentation
to the Brevard County hoard of County Commissioners.
