RESOLUTION NO, 78-2
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AREAS OF PRIMARY
INTEREST OF INDIVIDUAL COUNCILMEN; PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cape
Canaveral, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1. Councilman Johnson L. Murphy is hereby assigned as
area of interest; roads, power and light service, telephone service, traffic
and parking, city beaches, waterways, drainage, beautification and erosion
control.
SECTION 2. Councilwoman Laverne C. Boyd is hereby assigned as
area of interest; communications, city planning, Board of Adjustment,
Planning & Zoning Board and Building Official.
SECTION 3. Councilwoman Marilyn A. Rigerman is hereby assigned
police,
as area of interest; fireAfire inspector, liquor and beverages, Commercial
Development Board and animal control.
SECTION 4. Councilwoman Ann H. Thurm is hereby assigned as
area of interest; finance, budget and administration, including city manager,
city clerk, city treasurer, city hall, bonds, taxes and revenues, elections,
chamber of commerce, sewage, city attorney, law and library.
SECTION S. Councilman Carl K. Welton is hereby assigned as area
of interest; water service, health and sanitation. inspector, recreation, city
parks and garbage.
SECTION 6. This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida
