NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City Council of the City of Cape Ca-
naveral, Florida will hold a Public Hearing
for the purpose of discussing Ordinance No.
17-2012 in the Cape Canaveral Library
Meeting Room, 201 Polk Avenue, Cape Ca-
naveral, Florida at 6 P.M., on Tuesday, Oc-
tober 16, 2012. The Ordinance may be in-
spected in its entirety in the City Clerk's of-
fice during business hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:00
P.m., Monday -Friday).
ORDINANCE 17-2012
An Ordinance of the City Council of the City
of Cape Canaveral, Brevard County, Flori-
da, amending Chapter 38, Fire Prevention
and Protection, of the Cape Canaveral Code
of Ordinances related to Public Fire Protec-
tion Service Charges; providing for the re-
peal of prior inconsistent ordinances and
resolutions; incorporation into the Code;
severability; and an effective date
Pursuant to Section 286.1015, Florida Stat-
utes, the City hereby advises the public that:
If a person decides to appeal any decision
made by the City Council with respect to
any matter considered at this meeting, that
Person will need a record of the Proceed-
ings, and for such purpose that person
might need to ensure that a verbatim record
of the proceedings is made, which record
includes the testimony and evidence upon
which the appeal is to be based. This notice
does not constitute consent by the City for
the introduction or admission into evidence
of otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evi-
dence, nor does it authorize challenges or
appeals not otherwise allowed by law. Per-
sons with disabilities needing assistance to
Affiant further says that the said FLORIDA TODAY is a newspaper in said Brevard County, participate in any of these proceedings
should contact the City Clerk's office
Florida, and that the said newspaper has heretofore been continuously published in said (868-1220) 48 hours in advance of the meet-
ing.

year next preceding the first publication of the attached copy of advertisement; and affiant
further says that she has neither paid nor promised any person, firm or corporation any
discount, rebate, commission or refund for the purpose of securing this a vertisement for
publication in said newspaper.
