NOVEMBER 5, 2007
MINUTES
A meeting of the City of Cape Canaveral Community Appearance Board was held on
November 5, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Annex, 111 Polk Avenue, Cape
Canaveral, Florida. Chairperson Randy Wasserman called the meeting to Order at 7 PM.

NEW BUSINESS
1. Approval of Meeting Minutes: October 15, 2007.
Motion by Ms. Jensen, seconded by Ms. Moore, to approve the meeting minutes of
October 15, 2007, as written. Vote on the motion carried unanimously.
2. Request No. 07 -37 — Addition/Single Family — 263 Tyler Ave. — George
Reinhart Jr., Applicant.
George Reinhart Jr., property owner, presented the submittal and photos for the Board's
review. Mr. Reinhart stated that the proposed addition would be a pitched roof with a
large storage area that would be accessed from the outside. Mr. Reinhart further stated
that the exterior would be stucco and painted cream with a brick color trim (to match the
existing colors), and would have autumn brown roof shingles. The Board reviewed the
submittal packet a. photo aphs of the site.
Motion by Mr. Bowman, seconded by Ms. Jensen, to approve Request No. 07 -37 as
presented. Vote on the motion carried unanimously.

3. Request No. 07 -38 — Sign — 7510 N. Atlantic Ave. — City of Cape Canaveral
Applicant.
The Board reviewed the submittal packet and photographs for the proposed wall sign. Mr.
Bowman stated that the sign might blend in better if the background were tan to match the
building. Mr. Wasserman stated that the Board could recommend or suggest that the
background be changed to tone down the bright white.
Shannon Roberts stated that the new City Planner will be located in the building and the
sign should include "Planning" as part of the verbiage. The Board stated that they do not
regulate the message; however, it would be acceptable if the City decided to add
"Planning" as part of the verbiage on the sign.
Motion by Ms. Jensen, seconded by Ms. Moore, to approve Request No. 07 -38 with the
suggestion that the background color match the building. Vote on the motion carried
unanimously.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 7:14 PM.
