ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
JUNE 5, 1989
A Meeting of the City of Cape Canaveral Zoning Board of
Adjustment was held on June 5, 1989, at City Hall Annex, 111 Polk
Avenue, Cape Canaveral, Florida. Vice Chairman Rigerman called
the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.
The Secretary called the roll.

Mr. Laws moved to approve the minutes of the March 27, 1989
meeting. Ms. Cardinale seconded motion. Motion carried
unanimously.

Ms. Rigerman explained the conditions placed on a Special
Exception. She noted that the parking allocations and lot
coverage met City Code Requirements; however, the request failed
to meet the requirement of'Section 637.51 (J) (2) in that the
outside display area was located in the setback. Mr. Beasley
stated that displaying items outside was a good advertising tool
and former tenants had left because the City did not allow them
to have outside advertising. Discussion followed.
Mr. Lee moved to disapprove Special Exception Request No. 89-4.
Ms. Cardinale seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
