HomeMy WebLinkAboutApr 1987 Notice of Public Hearings-rezone t s. t CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA I NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS The City of Cape Canaveral, Brevard County, Florida, is proposing to change the district boundardies (rezone) the following parcels 1` of land. A map depicting the exact locations and dimensions of subject parcels is available for inspection during normal business hours in the office of the City Clerk. 1. Rezone from C-1 (Commercial) to R-3 (Medium Density Residential) Parcel 754 and a portion of Parcel 750, Section 15, Township 24 South, Range 37 East ( located west of Gateway to the Stars Motel ) . 2. Rezone from R-3 (Medium Density Residential) to C-1 (Commercial) the State of Florida Internal Improvement Fund Property and a portion of Parcel 2, Section 15, Township 24 South, Range 37 East ( located west of State Road AlA in the northern section of the City) . 3 . Rezone from M-1 (Light Industrial) to C-1 (Commercial) a 500 foot strip east of State Road AlA in the northern part of the city, including the State of Florida Internal Improvement Fund Property, a portion of Parcel 2, a portion of Parcel 750 and a portion of Parcel 756, t Section 15, Township 24 South, Range 37 East. 4 . Rezone from R-2 (Medium Density Residential) to M-1 F (Light Industrial ) Parcels 258, 259, 260 and 261, Section 14, Township 24 South, Range 37 East (property owned by Rinker Materials located in the northern end of ; t the City, near George King Boulevard) . 5. Rezone from M-1 (Light Industrial) to C-1 (Commercial) the northern 500 feet of Parcel 15, Section 14, Township r' 24 South, Range 37 East ( located in the northern section of the City immediately east of Belcher Oil Company) . I' Two Public Hearings on these proposed changes will be held as follows at Cape Canaveral City Hall , 105 Polk Avenue, Cape Canaveral, Florida: Tuesday, April 7, 1987 - 7: 30 P.M. Tuesday, April 21, 1987 - 7: 30 P.M. Interested parties may attend these meetings and be heard. Any person who decides to appeal any decision with respect to any matter considered at these meetings will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. f I ntw 101 net S.
