BOX 326 01:29 pm Cape Canaveral FL 32920 CFN:2003157580 05-29-2003 RESOLUTION NO. 2003-14 4925 Book /Page: 4925 / 2790 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL BREVARD 1 COUNTY, FLORIDA; TO OFFICIALLY NAME HITCHING POST ROAD, RICHIE AVENUE AND ARNO AVENUE, LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, REQUESTING THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA TO PLACE THE NAMED ACCESS /DRIVEWAYS ON THE OFFICIAL MAPS OF RECORD; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Cape Canaveral, Brevard County, Florida has been requested to name the following private access /driveways: Access /driveways located in Sections 22 and 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Parcel 281, as identified on the attached map, marked "Exhibit A," and WHEREAS, the above described access /driveways should be named to improve location identification for 9 -1 -1 purposes. i NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of ta Cape Canaveral, Brevard County, Florida that SECTION 1. Adopting Hitching Post Road, Richie Avenue and Arno Avenue to name the above- described access /driveways. SECTION 2. By naming these access /driveways, the City of Cape Canaveral in no way accepts maintenance responsibilities for said access /driveways. SECTION 3. It shall be the property owner s responsibility to place the appropriate street sign(s) and keep said access clear and accessible for emergency vehicles. SECTION 4. This naming shall become effective upon adoption of this resolution. SECTION 5.
