1. Create a temporary folder containing a Word document with Title, Photo and Caption:
Download photo(s) onto computer
Select best picture and edit as necessary (crop, adjust brightness, etc.)
Save the picture into a temporary new folder. Name the folder appropriately.
Right click on photo, select copy
Open a new Word document
Type the Title of the presentation at the top of the Word document
Right click under the title, select paste to place the photo under the title
Write caption below the photo, be correct and keep it short.
Save the Word document in the same folder
2. Update the presentations sidebar on City website:
Log in as admin
Go to Home/Section introduction edit/sidebar/add a sidebar
Input the title as written in the Word document
Click Manage Images (at bottom)/browse to the edited photo/upload
Click caption, then copy and paste the caption created in the Word document.
Click Apply/Apply/Apply/Finished
3. Store the temporary folder in Laserfiche/Presentations for archival purposes:
Open Laserfiche/Presentations
Select appropriate year
Drag and drop the folder into this folder
