MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER: A meeting of the Board of Adjustment (BOA) took place on April 18, 2024, at
City Hall Council Chambers, 100 Polk Avenue, Cape Canaveral, Florida. Chairman Mr. John Bond
called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm. The Board Secretary called the roll.

A. Board Matters:
1. Approval of Meeting Minutes — April 27, 2023 Mr. Brewer made a motion to
accept the April 27, 2023 minutes, seconded by Mr. Slaton. The motion carried
unanimously.
2. A motion was made by Mr. Bond to elect Mr. Brewer as Chairman and seconded
by Mr. Slaton. The motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Mr. Slaton to elect John Bond as Vice Chairman and
seconded by Mr. Brewer. The motion carried unanimously.

Chairman Bond introduced Arvo Eflau to the board. Mr, Eilau lives at 550 Jackson
Avenue, Unit Z04.Hehas been aresident mfCape Canaveral for about 20years
and served onthe Board ofAdjustment for 4years and was, the Chairman 3of
those years. That was approximately 8 or 9: years ago and lie decided to come
back tohelp the city inany way lie can.
Amotion was made bvMr. Bond to appoint Mr. Ei|autoserve onthe Board of
Adjustment and seconded bv Mr. 8oton.The motion carried onamimnous|y. Mc
ENau vviU still need to get City Counci|'s approval. Their next meeting is scheduled
for May 21st.
Councilman Don Willis was present and thanked the board for their service,
Amotion was made by Mr. Brewer toadjourn and seconded by McSlatnn.
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned mt 6:09 p.m.
