Certificate of Completion
Dear Mr. German,
Concerning the as-built construction of the Holiday Inn Express located at 995 Shorewood Drive;
to the best of my knowledge I, Michael S. Allen, certify based on on-site observations and as-built
record drawings, that the required site and infrastructure improvements were constructed in
conformance with the Approved Site Plan(PZ21-0005), the construction plans, and specifications,
except for the following items:
1) The curb returns on the sidewalk ramp north of the main entrance were not installed.
(Item to be corrected by contractor)
2) The 4' masonry wall with intermittent picket fencing was not installed at the northeast
corner of the site. (Owner representative is working with City staff on the installation
of the wall and additional landscape berms)
3) The sidewalk around the north end of the building, adjacent to the parking stalls, was
not installed. (Item was deleted by the owner)
4) The sidewalk around the open green space at the southwest corner of the building
was not install. (Item was deleted by owner)
5) The meandering sidewalk through the conservation area encroached onto the
adjacent property. (Contractor is currently in the process of remedying the
placement of the sidewalk)
None of the above items affect the substantial completion of the site and infrastructure
improvements to properly function as designed.
