Hi David,
Spectrum is tricky but we have someone coming on the 26th. However, there isn’t a “problem” so I don’t know if they will do any work until there is a problem. Confusing I know.
Is there any way, you could ask the FPL guy(Adrian) to alert Spectrum that the pole is coming down and that Spectrum needs to remove its lines from an FPL pole?
It’s a long shot but I thought I’d ask.
Thank you!
Sherry

Hi David,
I just got a call from Ron about the issue that Spectrum also has lines on the utility pole.
Do you know when the decision was made to remove the pole? Was that anFPL decision or an engineering decision?
We could have scheduled Spectrum weeks ago to deal with their end if we had known that decision to remove the pole had changed.
I feel like I will be on the short end with internet interruption (which is a big deal) once again because of this project.
Ron may let Spectrum know but I don’t think he will remember. I know I keep harping on internet but everything in my house is connected to internet and this project does affect it
and should be part of the coordination especially since if the swale had been done correctly in the first place, Spectrum would have installed where they needed to to begin with.
Thanks,
Sherry

Hi Sherry. Completely understand. I will pass this along to Gary so he can coordinate with FPL and Spectrum.

Hi David,
Thanks for the update. You said they are going to remove the pole. I thought that wasn’t going to happen so Spectrum was not involved. I need some clarification as I’m confused
Spectrum is run down that pole so I’m again concerned about internet issues from lack of understanding or coordination. The last time work was done, my internet cable was sliced and
I lost internet.
If you could shed some light, I’d appreciate it!
Thanks,Sherry

Hi Sherry and Maranda. Just heard from Adrian with FPL. FPL’s underground contractor is scheduled to start work at your properties on October 26th (next week) - should take one working
day. FPL’s overhead contractor will come in and remove the pole and wire shortly thereafter. At that point the drainage system can be completed by the builder.
I appreciate your continued patience on this.
Dave

Hi David,
I hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend.
Just something else to mention about the FPL pole and lines that have to be buried….sorry!!
Spectrum also has our internet lines on the wires and coming down the pole ( I’m happy to show you if you want to swing by one day) so if FPL removes the pole, Spectrum will also need
to be involved ahead of time to figure out of how they are running internet to our homes.
We definitely can’t be without internet.
Thanks,
Sherry
