HomeMy WebLinkAboutRE_ Fillmore QuestionsGood morning Maranda. I was out of town for several days and am now just going through emails. I am finalizing correspondence to Mr. Wittekind addressing outstanding Code compliance items with the Fillmore Townhouse project. My goal is to have that out today. The property owners will be copied so everyone will be in the loop. You sent an update to Sherry and I that the ball has been in your court for a few days, I am not quite sure what that means. What is the Citys plan moving forward? I was updated on April 20th that the issues would be resolved in 10 days. We are now two weeks past the date of that email. How much longer will it take to be resolved? I want an updated plan and timeline. It has been over a week since Wes, Todd, you and I met and discussed some of the issues at 306 Fillmore. You and Todd had assured me that you would be looking into finding the answers. I want the answers to those questions. I also want the answers and documentation that were requested in the email sent to you both a month ago on April 7th. I had expected that you and Todd would have had answers or at least more knowledge of the situation when you came out to the site on April 25th since the previous emails had covered most of what we discussed. I questioned the swale design in March 25th email. I have yet to be answered on any of the emails. Attached are photos from the storm last week. This is exactly why I am questioning the City not making Cape III install the drainage basin adding storm water storage. As you can see in the photos the flooding is undermining and prematurely aging the life expectancy of not only my driveway but also the sidewalk. The sidewalk is also being undermined by the water flowing down past the drain inlet, uncontrolled stormwater run off has already destroyed the vegetation on the sublawn leading to the sidewalk. Now that there is photo evidence of the damage being caused by the City allowing the City approved engineered plan to not be built, what is the Citys plan to correct the issues?
