CASE NO. 22-205224 FILLMORE LLC, C/O CLINTON DAVIS R.A. 9/15/22 During community policing staff observed what appeared to be unpermitted work. 12/28/23 Staff attempted to contact property owner; left voicemail. 2/21/23 Property owner made contact with staff and obtained a list of contractors to apply for a permit. 3/29/23 No permit has been applied for. 4/4/23 Permit application was submitted. 4/5/23 Permit application was reviewed and the contractor was notified of the requirement for sealed engineered plans. 4/28/23 Staff contacted owner and informed him sealed engineered plans were required for the permit. Contractor was also contacted regarding the engineered plans. 5/11/23 Staff spoke with property owner who stated he believed the drawings submitted where sufficient, but stated he would get an engineer. Case #22-205 Synopsis CASE NO. 22-205224 FILLMORE LLC, C/O CLINTON DAVIS R.A. 5/31/23 Spoke with property owner who stated an engineer will contact city staff and present plans. 6/8/23 The Permit Technician made contact with contractor who stated they where no longer involved with the project. Staff attempted to contact property owner regarding contractors statement, voicemail was left. Property owner contacted staff via text message stating he had reached out to the engineer regarding the project. 6/9/23 Staff made contacted with the property owner and informed him the contractor had contacted the city and stated they were no longer involved with the project. Property owner stated he was unaware of this and would reach out to the contractor. 6/12/23 Property owner made contact with staff at city hall to obtain a list of contractors to complete project. 6/13/23 A notice of hearing was sent to the property owners and the property was posted in accordance with F.S. 162.12 Notices. 6/27/23 Sealed engineered plans have not been submitted. CASE NO. 22-251JESSICA MAYER 10/4/22 Staff received a complaint from a Donna Lugo of Ocean Woods property management that a new fence was installed without permits and on HOA property at 8722 Jasmine Ct. Staff conducted a site visit and observed a newly installed fence. A door tag was left on the gate advising the owner to contact staff. Later that same day the owner, Jessica Mayer, contacted staff and she was informed a permit was required for the fence. Staff also advised her of the property line issue. She advised the fence was put where the original was. Staff informed her a survey is needed for the permit and the fence must be on her property line. She advised she would take care of it. 11/21/22 There has been no change on this matter so a notice of violation was generated and sent to the owner. 12/8/22 Jessica Mayer submitted an incomplete application for permit but it is on hold until a survey is provided. She stated in the application she will be getting a survey. 5/18/23 As of this date no survey has been provided. Case #22-251 Synopsis CASE NO. 22-251JESSICA MAYER 6/6/23 As of this date there has been no action on the permit application and no contact with the property owner. A notice of hearing was generated and sent to the owner. The notice was also posted on the front gate of the owners property at 8722 Jasmine Ct. CASE NO. 23-015LOPEZ, JOSE E; AVILES, MARIBEL 1/7/23 During community policing staff observed unpermitted work in progress which included the removal of a water heater. Staff also observed a bathroom remodel and kitchen demo. Staff spoke with the property owner and advised him of what work would require a permit. 2/01/23 Drywall permit application was submitted. 2/15/23 Notice of violation posted in accordance with F.S 162.12 notices 2/24/23 Property owner made contact with staff who informed him of the permit requirements. Staff also informed the property owner, all work must stop until all required permits are obtained. 3/29/23 No permit applications have been submitted. 5/26/23 Staff spoke with property owner who stated a plumber will apply for a permit. 6/2/2023 Staff spoke with property owner who stated he would apply for the permit by middle of next week. Case #23-015 Synopsis CASE NO. 23-015LOPEZ, JOSE E; AVILES, MARIBEL 6/9/23 Property owner made contact with staff and stated he would apply for the permit himself. Staff informed the owner he would not be able to rent or sell the property for 12 months due to the owner/builder permit requirements. 6/13/23 Notice of hearing sent, notice of hearing posted in accordance with F.S 162.12 notices 6/27/23 No permit applications have been submitted.
