We, the undersigned, Katie Jacobus, County Judge, Rita Pritchett, County
Commissioner, and Tim Bobanic, Supervisor of Elections, constituting the Board of
County Canvassers in and for said County, do hereby certify that we met on the 9th
day of November, 2023, and proceeded publicly to canvass the votes given for the
Municipal & Special District Election held on the 7th day of November, 2023, as
shown by the returns on file in the office of the Supervisor of Elections. We do
hereby certify from said returns as follows:
For City of Cape Canaveral City Council (Vote for up to 2), the whole number of votes cast was
2216 of which
Kay Lyn Jackson received 774 votes
Steven W. Stroud received 582 votes
Don Willis received 860 votes
For City of Indian Harbour Beach City Council, Seat 1 (Vote for One), the whole number of votes
cast was 1539 ,of which
Adam Dyer received 587 votes
David Nutt received 399 votes
Douglas Vincent Torpy received 553 votes
For City of Indian Harbour Beach City Council, Seat 2 (Vote for One), the whole number of votes
cast was 1549 , of which
Hamilton Boone received 782 votes
Susan Ruimy received 767 votes

Total ballots cast in Brevard County were 9,943 for a 24.51 % turnout.
We certify that pursuant to Section 102.112, Florida Statutes, the canvassing
board has compared the number of persons who voted with the number of ballots
counted and that the certification includes all valid votes cast in the election.
