Pursuant to Section 286.1015, Florida Statutes, the City hereby advises the public that: If a
person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter
considered at this meeting, that person will need a record of the proceedings, and for such
purpose that person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which
record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. This notice
does not constitute consent by the City for the introduction or admission into evidence of
otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not
otherwise allowed by law.
This meeting may include the attendance of one or more members of the Cape Canaveral City

Re: Request For (2) Ground Signs At 7099 N. Atlantic Avenue
This application is complete and all required fee's have been received by the city.
The request consists of (# 1) a 144 square foot, two pole support, 30 foot high sign being
placed adjacent to the right of way on N. Atlantic Avenue and (# 2) a 36 square foot,
single pole, 7 foot high sign being placed adjacent to the right of way on Center Street.
The above request will meet the requirements of the City's Sign Ordinances with the
following conditions:
1. The removal of advertisements from the existing sign located on the lot adjacent and to
the North of the requested sign on N. Atlantic Avenue that advertise business not located
on that site. (off -site signs are prohibited)(the property owner has agreed to remove these
advertisements)
2. That any lighting of the sign comply with city regulations.
Staff recommends approval of the request with the above stated conditions.

This letter is to advise you that the Community Appearance Board approved the above -
referenced project, in the meeting held on October 6, 1997, with the following stipulations:
Stipulations: 1. Removing the advertisements from the existing sign located on the lot adjacent
and to the North of the requested sign on N Atlantic Ave that advertise business
not located on that site.
2. That any lighting of the sign comply with city regulations.
You may contact the Building Department for information relating to the issuing required
permits for the project.
