NOTICE OF PUBUC HEARING
CRY OF CAPE CANAVERAL
The City Council of the Gty of Cape Can-
averal, Florida w,ll hold a Public Hearing
for the purpose of discussing Ordinance
Nos. 02-2023 and 03-2023 in the Cape
Canaveral City Hall Council Chambers,
100 Polk Avenue, Cape Canaveral, Flori-
da at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 21,
2023. The Ordinances may be inspected
in their entirety in the City Clerk's Office
during business hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:00
p.m., Monday -Friday). Interested parties
may appear at the meeting and be
heard with respect to the proposed Or-
dinances.
ORDINANCE N0, 02-2023
An Ordinance of the Gty of Cape Canav-
eral, Florida; amending the Solid Waste
Agreement between the Gty and Waste
Pro of Florida, Inc, pursuant to Section
2.12 of the City Charter, to adopt a new
residential and commercial rate and ex-
tend the term of the franchise until Sep-
tember 30, 2027; providing for the re-
peal of prior inconsistent ordinances and
resolutions, incorporation into the Code,
severability and an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City of Cape Canav-
eral, Florida; amending Chapter 22 —
Community Development to modify the
duties of the Business and Economic De-
velopment Board to indude serving in
the role of the City of Cape Canaveral
Community Redevelopment Agency Ad-
visory Board; providing for the purpose
and duties of the City of Cape Canaveral
Community Redevelopment Advisory
Board; providing for the repeal of prior
inconsistent ordinances and resolutions,
incorporation into the Code, severability
and an effective date.
The City Council reserves the right to
continue or postpone hearings to a date
certain without re -advertising. Pursuant
to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, the
City hereby advises the public that: If a
person decides to appeal any decision
made by the City Council with respect to
any matter considered at this meeting,
that person will need a record of the
proceedings, and for such purpose that
person may need to ensure that a verba-
tim record of the proceedings is made,
which record indudes the testimony and
evidence upon which the appeal is to be
based. This notice does not constitute
consent by the City for the introduction
or admission into evidence of otherwise
inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor
does it authorize challenges or appeals
not otherwise allowed bylaw. In accord-
ance with the Americans with Disabili-
ties Act: all interested parties may at-
tend this Public Meeting. The facility is
accessible to the physically handicapped.
