I agree that research to address the purchase of the property be held to ensure that the City Council could not be sued by its citizens for not following proper procedures during the procurement and subsequent purchase of the property. I agree with you, Willis and Kellum that we need to double check that we are in compliance with local and state ordinances and laws before moving forward with the final purchase of the property. I don't believe it is a safe location as people would again be crossing A1A to use it. Florida has a very broad public records law.
