Subject: Request for Report of Homes Flooded on Sunday
Good morning,
We have been in discussions with FEMA to determine if we can add the flooding from Sunday to the Hurricane Irma declaration. This would allow those who were impacted over the weekend
to seek FEMA assistance and resources for their damages.
To those who have already sent information in, thank you – this has allowed us to start having this conversation with FEMA. At this point in time, we are just looking for an estimate
of the number of homes which may have seen water in homes on Sunday night/Monday morning. We would appreciate any assistance you could provide to help us gain visibility on this, and
we need this information as quickly as possible to report up to FEMA.
Thank you for your help,
Brevard County Emergency Management
