When Mr. Hersom erected his fence and blocked the easement he was informed that if his neighbors needed access to the rear of their properties then he would need to allow them access through the easement. Mr. Hersom was required to place ingress/egress gates, prior to the final inspection on the fence being approved, to accommodate this. Thank you. I am writing on behalf of my client/seller, Brian Hersom. I have a question as to how Brain should proceed with a neighbor issue (Jo Anne Galluzzi 118 Jefferson Ave). There is no HOA. Ms. Galluzzi has been very vocal when it comes to speaking with potential buyers of 116 Jefferson Ave in regards to HER access to my clients back yard. She is under the impression that she can trespass at her will. As per Brian Hersom, according to Code Enforcement, as the owner of this dwelling, he is in control of his gates. As far as I can see All improvements on his property including fencing was done in accordance with City guidelines, and permits. Is it possible for City Code Enforcement to visit/ meet/mail with Ms. Galluzzi to explain the Utility Easement and Access to a private property in detail? Thank you for your input.
