HomeMy WebLinkAboutRE FDOT Presentation - Solana Shores Condo (4)Anna: Thank you...getting on the same page would absolutely be beneficial. Todd's calendar would support a meeting on Thursday afternoon or Friday. Let me touch base with him and see about setting something up and with who. What is your/Lori's availability on those dates/times? I will hold off on sending out anything to ALL condo board members until I get further direction. Thank you. Could I maybe suggest that we (Todd, Brenda, Lori, Anthony, and myself) get a 30-60 min meeting on the calendar to talk about how we can best approach this and the best path forward? I believe the department's desire is to work on a list of influential stakeholders and community groups to ensure that we are being effective in this next step. I think Todd mentioned that he was working on collecting a list from the commissioners on those that they feel would be influential/critical to this portion of the process. I think we like to see the amount of meetings and create the best road map to address it. I am certainly open to other suggestions, but I think it could be beneficial to all parties to regroup on the next step. Anna / Lori: I received the below email asking for an FDOT/A1A presentation be scheduled with Solana Shores. I am still in the process of obtaining email addresses of HOA Board members to send out the information to other CONDO HOA Boards, so more requests will likely follow. To date, I have Solana Shores and Puerto Del Rio asking for presentations. Can you provide confirmation of your attendance for these two meetings? Puerto Del Rio requested a specific date/time for you to attend one of their Condo Board meetings on May 9, 2022 at 5:00-7:30 at Cape Canaveral Public Library, whereas Solana Shores sent the below looking to set-up a date/time/Zoom with you. Can you please let me know how you plan to handle the requests that come in? Availability to attend as need? That will help me in answering the emails and scheduling meetings with you going forward. I spoke with the city manager about arranging a FDOT presentation before the Solana Shores condominium association and community. The association has a keen interest regarding this project. I have copied one of our board members, Marybeth VIers, who is prepared to schedule this presentation. The association has a clubhouse for a physical presentation, and will hook up zoom so any out of town residents can also view the presentation. Therefore, It may be important for FDOT or the city to provide the association in advance, the PowerPoint presentation FDOT used when they presented to Council or any other electronic visuals. Thank you for getting this arranged for my condo community. Regards, Anthony A. Garganese Florida has a very broad public records law.
