A1A in the City of Cape Canaveral. Back in October of 2021, the Department hosted a public meeting and has since presented to our City Council. We all understand that the community’s support is a critical component in improving safety along the S.R. A1A corridor. As we move forward, we would like to schedule presentations at your future community meetings. We understand that there are many HOAs, community groups, and businesses along the corridor so we would like to prioritize these meetings over the next year. If your board is interested in hosting a project update presentation we ask that you notify us by email in the next 30 days or maybe give a date. Once we have a better understanding of the amount of meetings being requested a member of the project team will be reaching out to coordinate times, dates, and possible location. In the meantime, we would like to provide some project information that you can share with your residents and neighbors. All project documents can be found at the project’s website (this includes the latest presentation given in March to the Cape Canaveral City Council) 430202-8 SR A1A from Long Point Road to George King Blvd (cflroads.com) <https://www.cflroads.com/project/430202-8 > . The Department has put together a video of future improvement which can be viewed here: A1A Corridor Improvements - YouTube <https://gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww. youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DBsnQBXpNIuQ&data=04%7C01%7CAnna.Taylor%40dot.state.fl.us%7C520331420c954268b88608da197462c4%7Cdb21de5dbc9c420c8f3f8f08f85b5ada%7C0%7C0%7C637850284926315568%7CUnknown%7CTWFpb GZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000&sdata=8ZcxV2EQoszewKvr7%2F6XTpWZ%2B2DfwUiIEY5894ApZlg%3D&reserved=0> .
