Notice is hereby given that the City of
Cape Canaveral proposes to adopt the
following Ordinances:
ORDINANCE NO. 13-2021
An Ordinance of the City Council of the
City of Cape Canaveral, Florida; adopt-
ing a small scale Future Land Use Map
Amendment by changing the Future
Land Use Map designation of multiple
parcels of real property generally known
as Ocean Gardens located on Ocean
Garden Lane, and more particularly de-
picted and legally described on Exhibit
"A" attached hereto, from "C-1 Com-
mercial" to "R-2 Residential;" providing
for the repeal of prior inconsistent ordi-
nances and resolutions, severability, in-
corporation into the Comprehensive
Plan and an effective date.
ORDINANCE NO. 14-2021
An Ordinance of the City Council of the
City of Cape Canaveral, Florida; adopt-
ing a City -initiated rezoning of multiple
parcels of real property generally known
as Ocean Gardens located at Ocean
Garden Lane from their respective cur-
rent City C-1 Low Density Commercial
Zoning District designation to the City R-
2 Medium Density Residential Zoning
District designation; providing the prop-
erties subject to this Ordinance are more
particularly depicted and legally descri-
bed on Exhibit "A" attached hereto;
providing for the repeal of prior incon-
sistent ordinances and resolutions,
severability and an effective date.

ORDINANCE NO. 17-2021

tions, severability, incorporation into the
Comprehensive Plan and an effective
date.

The following public hearings will be
held regarding the adoption of the Ordi-
nances:
Planning & Zoning Board/Land Planning
Agency (LPA) Meeting
Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 6:00
P.M. or soon thereafter at City Hall lo-
cated at 100 Polk Avenue, Cape Canaver-
al, Florida. The LPA will make a recom-
mendation regarding the Ordinances to
the City Council at this meeting. The
LPA reserves the right to postpone or
continue the Public Hearing on any of
these Ordinances at this meeting with-
out further notice.
City Council Meeting - First Reading
Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 6:00 P.M.
or soon thereafter at City Hall located at
100 Polk Avenue, Cape Canaveral, Flori-
da. The City Council reserves the right
to postpone or continue the Public Hear-
ing on any of these Ordinances at this
meeting without further notice.

and Adoption
Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 6:00 P.M.
or soon thereafter at City Hall located at
100 Polk Avenue, Cape Canaveral, Flori-
-da. The City Council reserves the right
to postpone or continue the Public Hear-
ing on any of these Ordinances at this
meeting without further notice.
The proposed Ordinances may be in-
spected by interested parties during reg-
ular City business hours, Monday
through Friday (8:30 am to 5:00 pm), at
the City Clerk's office located at 100 Polk
Avenue, Cape Canaveral, Florida. For

x207. Interested parties may appear at
the meeting and be heard with respect
to the proposed Ordinances. Persons
with disabilities needing assistance to
participate in any of these proceedings
should contact the City Clerk's office, 48
hours in advance of the meeting. The
meetings listed above are public hear-
ings. If you decide to appeal any deci-
sion made by the City Council with re-
spect to any matter considered at these
meetings, you will need a record of the
proceedings, and for such purposes, you
may need to ensure that a verbatim re-
cord of the proceedings is made upon
which the appeal is based. Interested
parties are advised that they may appear
at the meeting and be heard with re-
spect to the proposed Ordinances.
