PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. Case No. 00-15, Theisen Development Corp., (8150 Astronaut Blvd), Section
23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Parcel 254.1, Brevard County, Florida
Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, where as
the dumpster screen is in a state of disrepair.
2. Case No. 00-16, Frank Long, (212 Monroe Avenue), Section 23, Township 24
South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 20, Lot 12, Brevard County,
Florida— Violation of Section 34-181 Storing, Parking, or Leaving on Private
Property, an inoperable motor vehicle.
3. Case No. 00-17, John Ribar, (216 Canaveral Beach Blvd), Section 14,
Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 5, Lot 13.09,
Brevard County, Florida— Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities
for Maintenance, and Section 34-98 Building Appearance and Maintenance,
where as the roof overhang/soffitt/facial boards are in a state of disrepair.
4. Case No. 00-18, Pravin& Jyostna Patel, (8020, 8040, & 8050 N. Atlantic
Avenue), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea,
Block 13, Lots 1-3, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 94-64
Criteria and Standards for Measurement and Placement, and Section 94-7
Conformance, where as an additional roof sign has been installed upon the
property, exceeding the maximum allowable square footage of signs.

5. Case No. 00-19, Harold & Denise Toy, (8590 Canaveral Blvd), Section 14,
Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Canaveral Blvd, Block 6, Lot 1, Brevard
County, Florida—Violation of Section 110-106 Building Permits Required, and
Section 110-277 Minimum Setbacks, where as a covered structure has been
erected upon the property without a building permit and encroaching into the
setbacks.
6. Case No. 00-20, Millineum Comminications Inc., (7090 N. Atlantic Avenue,
Suite # 2), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea,
Block 65, Lots 1-3, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 94-76
Temporary On-premise Signs, where as banner type signs have been attached to
the exterior of the building and used for advertising purposes.
Pursuant to Section 286.1015,F.S.,the City hereby advises the public that: If a person decides to appeal any decision
made by the Code Enforcement Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, that person will need a
record of the proceedings, and for such purpose that person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the
proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. This
notice does not constitute consent by the City for the introduction or admission into evidence of otherwise
inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law.
The attendance of one or more members of the Cape Canaveral City Council, Board of Adjustment, Code
Enforcement and/or Community Appearance Board who may or may not participate in Board discussions held at this
public meeting. Persons with disabilities needing special assistance to participate in any of these proceedings should
contact the City Clerk's office at 868-1221, 48 hours in advance of the meeting.
