COMPLIANCE HEARINGS:
1. Case No. 00-16, Frank Long, (212 Monroe Avenue), Section 23, Township 24
South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 20, Lot 12, Brevard County,
Florida—Violation of Section 34-181 Storing, Parking, or Leaving on Private
Property, an inoperable motor vehicle.
2. Case No. 00-17, John Ribar, (216 Canaveral Beach Blvd), Section 14,
Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 5, Lot 13.09,
Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities
for Maintenance, and Section 34-98 Building Appearance and Maintenance,
where as the roof overhang/soffitt/facial boards are in a state of disrepair.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. Case No. 00-21, Harold & Denise Toy, (8590 Canaveral Blvd), Section 14,
Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Canaveral Beach Gardens, Block 6, Lot 1,
Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 110-106 Building Permits
Required and Section 110-277 Minimum Setbacks Required, where as an
accessory structure was erected/constructed upon the property without a building
permit and encroaching into the setbacks.
2. Case No. 00-22, Maria Armanno Trustee owner, Nicole Smith resident, Section
23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The Sea, Block 15, Lot 1, west
1/2 of lot 2, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 110-478 Residential
Use Antennas, and Section 110-106 Building Permits Required, where as a ham
radio or citizens band radio antenna was erected/installed upon the property
without a building permit, engineering, wind loading, etc.

3. Case No. 00-24, Columbiad Commercial Condo Association, (102 Columbia
Drive), Section 22, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Lots 1.01-1.20,
Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities
for Maintenance, where as a pile of green waste has been stored upon the
property for quite sometime now, the dumpster screen location is not adequate to
provide access for the waste provider to service the property and the dumpster is
not being placed within the enclosure.
4. Case No. 00-25, Faith Goodman, Section (337 Caroline Street), 14, Township 24
South, Range 37 East, Canaveral Beach Gardens, Block 1, Lot 1.02, Brevard
County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for
Maintenance, #D, where as the fence is in need of repairs/replacement where its
deteriorated and showing signs of lack of maintenance.
5. Case No. 00-26, William & Teresa Mc Ara, (335 Caroline Street), Section 14,
Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Canaveral Beach Gardens, Block 1, Lot 1,
Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities
for Maintenance, where as the fences along the south and west property lines are
in need of repairs and or replacement, as they are showing signs of lack of
maintenance.
Pursuant to Section 286.1015,F.S.,the City hereby advises the public that: If a person decides to appeal any decision
made by the Code Enforcement Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, that person will need a
record of the proceedings, and for such purpose that person may need to ensure that a verbatim recordof the
proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be:based. This
notice does not constitute consent by the City for the introduction or admission into evidence of otherwise
inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law.
The attendance of one or more members of the Cape Canaveral City Council, Board of Adjustment, Code
Enforcement and/or Community Appearance Board who may or may not participate in Board discussions held at this
public meeting. Persons with disabilities needing special assistance to participate in any of these proceedings should
contact the City Clerk's office at 868-1221, 48 hours in advance of the meeting.
