CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Meeting of May 18th, 2000 ESTABLISHING NEXT MEETING DATE: July 20th, 2000 COMPLIANCE HEARINGS: 1. Case No. 00-22, Maria Armanno Trustee owner, Nicole Smith resident, Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The Sea, Block 15, Lot 1, west 1/2 of lot 2, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 110-478 Residential Use Antennas, and Section 110-106 Building Permits Required, where as a ham radio or citizens band radio antenna was erected/installed upon the property without a building permit, engineering, wind loading, etc. 2. Case No. 00-24, Columbiad Commercial Condo Association, (102 Columbia Drive), Section 22, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Lots 1.01-1.20, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, where as a pile of green waste has been stored upon the property for quite sometime now, the dumpster screen location is not adequate to provide access for the waste provider to service the property and the dumpster is not being placed within the enclosure. 3. Case No. 00-21, Harold & Denise Toy, (8590 Canaveral Blvd), Section 14, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Canaveral Beach Gardens, Block 6, Lot 1, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 110-106 Building Permits Required and Section 110-277 Minimum Setbacks Required, where as an accessory structure was erected/constructed upon the property without a building permit and encroaching into the setbacks. 2. Case No. 00-26, Dan Petro, (8720 Seashell Lane), Section 14, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Harbor Height's Subdivision 1st Addition, Parcel 524, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Sections 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, Section 34-181 Storing, Parking, or Leaving on Private Property, and Section 82-371 Posting & Specifications of Numbers, where as the home is in need of painting, the exterior of the property needs to have the numerous items stored around it removed and/or disposed of, or stored in a proper place of storage, inoperable motor vehicles made operable, and the address of the property posted upon the dwelling and at the entrance way at the intersections of Harbor Drive and Seashell Lane. 3. Case No. 00-27, Dale Allenbaugh& Carol Irwin, owners (8211 Magnolia Avenue), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 3, Lot 7,8, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, and Section 34-181 Storing, parking, or Leaving on Private Property, where as the exterior of the property has numerous items, materials, debris, etc., stored around the outside of the property as well as an inoperable motor vehicle. 4. Case No. 00-28, The Tomato Grille Inn, owners Edward & Anthony Liguori, (6890 N. Atlantic Avenue), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Block 73, Lots 1-3, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 94-31 Permits Required, where as a wall sign was installed upon the building without a building permit being obtained and without approval from the Community Appearance Board. Case No. 00-29, Gwendolynne Noack, (112 Pierce Avenue), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 56, Lot 13, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-96 Property Maintenance Standards Established, where as the parking lot area is in need of repairs. 6. Case No. 00-30, Kenny Lee's Appliances, (7032 N. Atlantic Avenue), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Block 65, Lots 9, 10, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 94-31 Permits Required, where as a wall sign was installed upon the exterior of the building and the building permit has not been obtained, paid for, and a final inspection completed. 7. Case No. 00-31, Ronald Regan, (105 Just-a-mere Road), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Parcel 270, 271, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 36 Property Maintenance Standards Established, and Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, where as the exterior of the property has numerous items, objects, materials, and debris stored around the exterior of the property. Pursuant to Section 286.1015,F.S.,the City hereby advises the public that: If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Code Enforcement Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, that person will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose that person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. This notice does not constitute consent by the City for the introduction or admission into evidence of otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law. The attendance of one or more members of the Cape Canaveral City Council, Board of Adjustment, Code Enforcement and/or Community Appearance Board who may or may not participate in Board discussions held at this public meeting.
