COMPLIANCE HEARINGS:
1. Case No. 00-21, Harold & Denise Toy, (8590 Canaveral Blvd), Section 14,
Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Canaveral Beach Gardens, Block 6, Lot 1,
Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 110-106 Building Permits
Required and Section 110-277 Minimum Setbacks Required, where as an
accessory structure was erected/constructed upon the property without a building
permit and encroaching into the setbacks.
2. Case No. 00-26, Dan Petro, (8720 Seashell Lane), Section 14, Township 24
South, Range 37 East, Harbor Height's Subdivision 1st Addition, Parcel 524,
Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Sections 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities
for Maintenance, Section 34-181 Storing, Parking, or Leaving on Private
Property, and Section 82-371 Posting & Specifications of Numbers, where as the
home is in need of painting, the exterior of the property needs to have the
numerous items stored around it removed and/or disposed of, or stored in a proper
place of storage, inoperable motor vehicles made operable, and the address of the
property posted upon the dwelling and at the entrance way at the intersections of
Harbor Drive and Seashell Lane.

Atlantic Avenue), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-
Sea, Block 73, Lots 1-3, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 94-31
Permits Required, where as a wall sign was installed upon the building without a
building permit being obtained and without approval from the Community
Appearance Board.
4. Case No. 00-35, Ronald &Mary Sears, (208 Harrison Avenue), Section 23,
Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Brevard County,
Florida—Violation of Section 34-96 Property Maintenance Standards Established,
where as the exterior of the property has trash and debris throughout, the fence is
in need of repairs where the slats are broken and missing, there are several
skateboard ramps being stored in the front yard

South, Range 37 East, Ocean Wood's Stage 3, Lot 70, Brevard County, Florida
Violation of Section 110-106 Building Permits Required, where as an air
conditioner/condenser unit was changed out without a building mechanical permit.
2. Case No. 00-37, Guy Dryden (property owner), Larry Rayburn (vehicle owner),
(321 Tyler Avenue, Apt # 1), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East,
Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 43, Lots 3,4,5, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of
Section 34-181 Storing, Parking, or Leaving on Private Property, an inoperable
motor vehicle, appeal of the posting of the vehicle.
3. Case No. 00-38, Oceanside Village Apartments (property owner), Brien Ross
(vehicle owner), (210 Caroline Street, Apt # 412), Section 14, Township 24
South, Range 37 East, Canaveral Beach Gardens, Block B, Lots 3-12,
Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-181 Storing, Parking, or
Leaving on Private Property., an inoperable motor vehicle, appeal of the posting of
the vehicle.

appeal of the posting of the vehicle.

Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 23, Lots 7,8,9, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of
Section 34-181 Storing, Parking, or Leaving on Private Property, an inoperable
motor vehicle, appeal of the posting of the vehicle.
Pursuant to Section 286.1015, F.S., the City hereby advises the public that: If a person
decides to appeal any decision made by the Code Enforcement Board with respect to any
matter considered at this meeting, that person will need a record of the proceedings, and
for such purpose that person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings
is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be
based. This notice does not constitute consent by the City for the introduction or
admission into evidence of otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it
authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law.
The attendance of one or more members of the Cape Canaveral City Council, Board of
Adjustment, Code Enforcement and/or Community Appearance Board who may or may
not participate in Board discussions held at this public meeting. Persons with disabilities
needing special assistance to participate in any of these proceedings should contact the
City Clerk's office at 868-1221, 48 hours in advance of the meeting.
