1. Case No. 99-02, Kathy McCann, (211 Circle Drive), Section 14, Township 24
South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 5, Lot 2, Brevard County,
Florida—Violation of Section 34-181 Storing, Parking, or Leaving on Private
Property, an inoperable motor vehicle.
2. Case No. 99-03, James Smith, (374 Jefferson Avenue), Section 23, Township
24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 9, Lots 13, 14, 15, Brevard
County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-181 Storing, Parking or Leaving on
Private Property, an inoperable motor vehicle.
3. Case No. 99-05, Ronald & Gloria Purcell, (224 Adams Avenue), Unit# 8,
Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 2,
Lots 15, 16, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of the 1994 Standard Fire
Prevention Code, as adopted by the city, Chapter 35 Garages, Section 3502.4
Garaged or Stored Vehicles, a motorcycle is being stored within the residential
dwelling unit.

REQUEST FOR REDUCTION OF IMPOSED FINE AMOUNT:
1. Case No. 98-47, Magma Trading Corporation, (8200 Astronaut Blvd), Section
23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Parcel 286, Brevard County, Florida—
Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, and
Section 94-7 Conformance, in that the property is in need of exterior maintenance
and the advertising on the exterior does not conform to city code.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. Case No. 99-06, Pearman Bednarick, (226 Circle Drive), Section 14, Township
24 South, Range 37 East, Canaveral Beach Gardens, Block 6, Lot 5, Brevard
County, Florida— Violation of Section 34-181 Storing, Parking, or Leaving on
Private Property, an inoperable motor vehicle.
2. Case No. 99-07, Anthony C. Giovannangeli, (307 Adams Avenue, Apt# 12),
Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 9,
Lots 3,4,5, Brevard County, Florida— Violation of Section 34-181 Storing,
Parking, or Leaving on Private Property, an inoperable motor vehicle.
3. Case No. 99-08, M & P of Brevard Inc., (8580 N. Atlantic Avenue), Section
14, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Canaveral Beach Gardens, Block 3,
Lot 13.01, Brevard County, Florida - Violation of Section 34-98 Building
Appearance and Maintenance, the building is in need of pressure cleaning of
mold and painting.
4. Case No. 99-09, Amin& Patel Investments Inc., (8050 N. Atlantic Avenue),
Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 13,
Lots 1-3, 1/2 of 4, Brevard County, Florida— Violation of Section 34-97 Duties
and Responsibilities for Maintenance, the parking lot individual parking spaces
need to be re-striped and delineated, the required handicap parking space added
and appropriate signage installed, and the electric cover plate installed on the roof
sign for Rosie's Stitch n Time roof sign electrical junction box.

5. Case No. 99-10, Kimberly Spencer, (203 Tyler Avenue), Section 23, Township
24 South, Range 37 East, Block 42, Lot 1.02, Brevard County, Florida—
Violation of Section 34-98 Building Appearance and Maintenance, the painting of
the townhouse was started and needs to be completed.
6. Case No. 99-11, Charles& Jennifer Hall, (327 Pierce Avenue), Section 23,
Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 58, Lot 6,
Brevard County, Florida— Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities
for Maintenance, numerous items are being stored outside in front of the dwelling
and driveway.
Pursuant to Section 286.1015, F.S., the City hereby advises the public that: If a person
decides to appeal any decision made by the Code Enforcement Board with respect to any
matter considered at this meeting, that person will need a record of the proceedings, and
for such purpose that person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings
is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be
based. This notice does not constitute consent by the City for the introduction or
admission into evidence of otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it
authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law.
The attendance of one or more members of the Cape Canaveral City Council, Board of
Adjustment, Code Enforcement and/or Community Appearance Board who may or may
not participate in Board discussions held at this public meeting. Persons with disabilities
needing special assistance to participate in any of these proceedings should contact the
City Clerk's office at 868-1221, 48 hours in advance of the meeting.
