Case No. 98-46, Cape Canaveral Office Center, (7980 N. Atlantic Avenue), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Block 19, Lots 1-3, Brevard County, Florida— Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, in that the roof overhang is in need of repairs, the parking lot asphalt has numerous breaks and areas deteriorating and needs to be patched/resurfaced. 2. Case No. 98-58, California Florida Corporation, (8590 N. Atlantic Ave), Section 14, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Canaveral Beach Gardens, Block 3, Lot 14.02, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, in that the parking lot designated parking spaces need to be re-striped, the required handicap parking space designated, marked, and appropriate signage installed, front of the building cleaned/painted, hole in facade repaired, and ground sign pole scraped and painted. 2. Case No. 98-59, La Paz Inc, (6211 N. Atlantic Ave), Section 22, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Banana River Estates, Lots 26, 27, Brevard County, Florida— Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, in that the building overhang and soffit need to be repaired/replaced, re-stripe the designated parking spaces, the required handicap parking space designated, marked, and appropriate signage installed, cut and maintain the weeds adjacent to the west end of the building and parking lot, and remove the advertising signs attached to the realtor sign along A1A. 3. Case No. 98-60, Thomas & Helen Metee, (218 Jackson Ave), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 13, (Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, in that the property has an overgrowth of grass and weeds exceeding the 6" height requirement, the swimming pool is in an unsafe, unsanitary condition, the fence around the rear yard needs to be repaired/replaced, the window on the east side of the building needs to be repaired and yard waste accumulated in the front of the property removed. 4. Case No. 98-61, Nancy Peters, (405 Tyler Ave, Apt # 301), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 44, Lots 2-4, Brevard County, Florida— Violation of Section 34-181 Storing, Parking, or Leaving on Private Property, an inoperable motor vehicle is being stored upon the property. Case No. 98-63, Wade Miller, (8417 Rosalind Ave), Section 14, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Canaveral Beach Gardens, Block B, Lot 13.03, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-181 Storing, Parking, or Leaving on Private Property, an inoperable motor vehicle is being stored upon the property. 7. Case No. 98-64, Susan Spears, (220 Lincoln Ave, Apt # 12), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 66, Lots 11-16, Brevard County, Florida— Violation of Section 34-181 Storing, Parking, or Leaving on Private Property, an inoperable motor vehicle is being stored upon the property. 8. Case No. 98-65, Sam Sanchez, (329 Pierce Ave, Apt# 3), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 63, Lot 7, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-181 Storing, Parking, or Leaving on Private Property, an inoperable motor vehicle is being stored upon the property. Pursuant to Section 286.1015, F.S., the City hereby advises the public that: If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Code Enforcement Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, that person will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose that person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. This notice does not constitute consent by the City for the introduction or admission into evidence of otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law. The attendance of one or more members of the Cape Canaveral City Council, Board of Adjustment, Code Enforcement and / or Community Appearance Board who may or may not participate in Board discussions held at this public meeting.
