Case No. 92-31, Ida Bruss, (8201 Canaveral Blvd), Section 14, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Canaveral Beach Gardens, Block 4, Lot 1, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 641.23 Accessory Structures, and Section 641.25 Visibility at Intersections, in that an accessory detached structure was constructed on the front of the property within the visibility triangle. 2. Case No. 98-47, Magma Trading Corporation, (8200 Astronaut Blvd), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Parcel 286, Brevard County, Florida Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, and Section 94-7 Conformance, in that the property is in need of exterior maintenance and the advertising on the exterior does not conform to city code. 3. Atlantic Ave), Section 22, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Banana River Estates, Lots 26, 27, Brevard County, Florida— Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, in that the building overhang and soffit need to be repaired/replaced, re-stripe the designated parking spaces, the required handicap parking space designated, marked, and appropriate signage installed, cut and maintain the weeds adjacent to the west end of the building and parking lot, and remove the advertising signs attached to the realtor sign along A1A. 5. Case No. 98-61, Nancy Peters, (405 Tyler Avenue, Apt # 301), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 44, Lots 2-4, Brevard County, Florida— Violation of Section 34-181 Storing, Parking, or Leaving on Private Property, an inoperable motor vehicle. 6. Case No. 98-62, Richard Lawson, (405 Tyler Avenue, Apt # 104), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 44, Lots 2-4, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-181 Storing, Parking, or Leaving on Private Property, an inoperable motor vehicle. PUBLIC HEARINGS: 1. Case No. 98-41, Ida Bruss, (8201 Canaveral Blvd), Section 14, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Canaveral Beach Gardens, Block 4, Lot 1, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, Section 82-371 Posting and Specifications of Numbers, in that the exterior of the property is in need of maintenance, and the address of the property needs to be posted in a clear and visible location. Case No. 98-60, Thomas & Helen Metee, (218 Jackson Ave), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 13, (Brevard County, Florida— Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, in that the property has an overgrowth of grass and weeds exceeding the 6" height requirement, the swimming pool is in an unsafe, unsanitary condition, the fence around the rear yard needs to be repaired/replaced, the window on the east side of the building needs to be repaired and yard waste accumulated in the front of the property removed. 3. Case No. 98-66, Sabrina Toledo, (250 Canaveral Beach Blvd), Section 14, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Canaveral Beach Blvd, Block 5, Lot 12, Brevard County, Florida— Violation of Section 34-181 Storing, Parking, or Leaving on Private Property, an inoperable motor vehicle. 4. Case No. 98-67, Burton& Diana Kennedy, (113-119 Monroe Avenue), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 25, Lots 1- 4, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, and Section 34-98 Building Appearance and Maintenance, in that the property exterior is in need of maintenance. 5. Case No. 98-68, The Knothouse, (6107 N. Atlantic Ave), Section 26, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Parcel 22.01, Brevard County, Florida Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, in that the exterior of the property to the rear is in need of maintenance. 6. Case No. 98-69, Vernon Wilmer, (220 Fillmore Avenue), Section 23, Township 24 South, Range 37 East, Avon-By-The-Sea, Block 52, Lot 13, Brevard County, Florida—Violation of Section 34-97 Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance, in the fence around the perimeter is in need or repairs/replacement, and the chain-link fence in the front of the property the privacy fence panels/slats need to be painted/replaced. CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD AGENDA NOVEMBER 19, 1998 PAGE 4 Pursuant to Section 286.1015, F.S., the City hereby advises the public that: If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Code Enforcement Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, that person will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose that person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. This notice does not constitute consent by the City for the introduction or admission into evidence of otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law. The attendance of one or more members of the Cape Canaveral City Council, Board of Adjustment, Code Enforcement and / or Community Appearance Board who may or may not participate in Board discussions held at this public meeting.
