The units will accept cash, coin, debit and credit cards. This will shift the cost of beach maintenance, which includes the parking areas, crossovers and beach rake maintenance, to those who use the City’s beautiful beaches, but do not live in the City. Residents will have the opportunity to have their ad valorem taxes used to offset the cost of their annual beach parking pass. Information about the City of Cape Canaveral Parking Meter Program can be found at www.cityofcapecanaveral.org. The Parking Permit Application is downloadable and must be mailed or returned in person to City Hall, 105 Polk Avenue, Attention: Finance Office. Applications are also available at City Hall.
