BEACH END PARKING METER PAY STATIONS COMING TO THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL
CAPE CANAVERAL, November, 2011. Public parking meter pay stations will be installed at the City’s 15 beach end streets as well as one in the Harbor Heights subdivision. The pay stations
are intended to help offset the costs of dune crossover repairs, beach management/raking & renourishment, signage, landscaping, roadway maintenance and trash pick-up. An annual beach
parking pass will be available. City residents may request a portion of their ad valorem taxes be used to offset the cost of the pass. The anticipated effective date is December 1,
2011.
Individuals wishing to obtain a pass can download the application, which must be mailed or returned in person to City Hall, 105 Polk Avenue, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920, Attention: Financial
Services.
