Thank you to the Planning and Zoning Board for their drafting of regulations for vacation rentals. I think they are
reasonable and badly needed. While everyone who spoke at the meeting on the 24th represented themself as the
responsible and caring owner of a vacation rental, there are many more owners who are not as responsible. This is why
regulations are needed. Many Cape Canaveral residents suffer because they live near a vacation rental with an
irresponsible owner. We moved here to live in a quiet beachside community but instead live with noise, constant guest
turnover of less than 7 days, party behavior and overflow parking. We are tired of calling for help from the city and
being told there is little that can be done. There is a great need for rules and oversight for vacation rentals.
