Mr. Price was not the "leader of the meeting" as she indicates. Wednesday's Planning and Zoning Meeting was chaired by Mr. Lamar Russell, who is the Board Chairman. Regarding your request for information: "clarification of the statement that was made at the planning and zoning meeting made by the leader of that meeting, John Price. He stated quite clearly," that his neighbor purchased a property next door to him and told him he was going to turn it into a "Party House". He then turned it into a party house." I would like clarification since he is stating this as fact, as to the address of the Party House" I believe you may search for a possible answer at www.bcpao.us. However, I am copying Planning and Zoning Board Chair John Price so he may address your question directly. 2. Regarding your request for records: a. "the list of complaints that has resulted from the operation of said "Party House""; and b. "... ask Mr. Price for the Party House address. If he is not able to provide this or unwilling to do so, his residence is in Harbor Heights. 1 would like a list of all complaints pertaining to vacation rentals for the Harbor Heights subdivision from November, 1 2020 until Feb 1, 2021 in order to substantiate his claim. Staff will analyze/research and respond to your request for records within 3-5 business days. If you have questions, please contact me. 1 Additionally, Staff is working to fix and improve meeting processes before the next City Council Meeting. We thank you for your feedback. If that is not possible forward the suspicious mail to I t lhtnlery t gj y of:-upsaog erg! org Hello. First of all, over the past City Council and Planning and Zoning meetings, it is apparent that city members are trying to impede community input at the meetings. They own an 8 million dollar building, but are unable, do to "ongoing technical support" issues, provide acknowledgement and time to answer questions that are provided via their web access site. All "hands raised" were ignored. In fact, the city made it even more difficult for constituents to voice their opinions and LISTEN to the important meeting regarding council's intent to impose a vacation home ordinance. The overflow of attendees were forced to use their own phones to try to listen to the meeting occuring in the meeting room because the TV that should be operating in the overflow area was "not working". I am suggesting that part of their 30 million dollar budget go to fixing their "issues". In addition, I am requesting a clarification of the statement that was made at the planning and zoning meeting made by the leader of that meeting, John Price. He stated quite clearly," that his neighbor purchased a property next door to him and told him he was going to turn it into a "Party House". He then turned it into a party house." I would like clarification since he is stating this as fact, as to the address of the Party House, and the list of complaints that has resulted from the operation of said "Party House". This is an important statement that I need clarified since it he used it as "fact" in his arguments regarding the need to place ordinances on vacation homes and his "facts" will be used to support his recommendations to the city council next meeting. Please ask Mr. Price for the Party House address. If he is not able to provide this or unwilling to do so, his residence is in Harbor Heights. I would like a list of all complaints pertaining to vacation rentals for the Harbor Heights subdivision from November, 1 2020 until Feb 1, 2021 in order to substantiate his claim.
