Good morning,
As a resident of Cape Canaveral, I would like to make my voice heard regarding short term rentals in the city.
I can see no reason for legislation that binds the income earning hands residents, except that our local
government would be looking out for the interest of hotels. Obviously I would pray this is not the case, because
it would reek of corruption.
Further more the tax paying citizens should not be penalized further, without showing additional cost the city
incurring.
For the city to try to inhibit income earning from its residents, especially in this economy, during a pandemic,
it's infuriating.

As far as property inspections and occupancy limits, the American free market already keeps a balance on
everything. No one wants excessive people staying in their rental, and any property not up to standard will not
be competitive in this market.
I would want to members if this hearing to not take a stance against its residents. Enable us to make money
legally, with out additional regulations. Do not take up positions against the people. Allow us it contribute to
our local tourism economy. The city receives its tourism tax. Allow a free market to work. Do not bind the
hands of Cape Canaveral's residents.
Thanks,
Ryan Deiseroth
